Stuart grew up in Rome, GA where he competed in seven sports with baseball being his main focus. After graduating from Rome High School, Stuart moved to North Carolina and attended North Carolina Wesleyan College (now University) where he started as a Theater major and ended up graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting -- a degree that he has never used.

In 2013, Stuart moved back to Georgia and met his wife Amanda, a teacher. They got married in November 2014 and currently live in Powder Springs, GA. In August of 2018, they had their first child, Ellison (Ellie) Mckenzie. They welcomed their second child, Gracelyn (Gracie) Noelle on June 1, 2021.

Stuart coached three seasons of volleyball with Praise Christian Academy. In 2016, his middle school team went 14-1 in the regular season, won the Region and placed 8th in the State with the GICAA.

In 2020-2021, Briscar's team had to miss Lil Big South which set them back as far as growing as a team, but the team was determined. They finished the season with a record of 59-16. They had two 1st in Gold finishes, two 1st in Silver finishes, and three additional Top 3 Gold finishes. They ranked in the top 30th percentile in the 15s Division.

In the 2021-2022 season, Briscar's team finished with a record of 72-25, finishing in the 25th percentile of the 15s division. His team had 7 gold bracket finishes, including 4th at Lil Big South and 2nd at SRVA Regionals.

Stuart enjoys coaching at Cobb Atlanta because it is competitive, but there are also many opportunities for players to grow in their skill and leadership ability.
