SELECT League FAQs 2025

 

How much does SELECT League Cost? 

SELECT is $675 for the full season. It does not include additional clinics or camps for which your player may sign up. 

When are tryouts for the 2025 season? 

All tryouts will be held at Tsunami Cobb Volleyball on Sunday, August 25th from 2pm - 4pm. For any athlete's that cannot attend tryouts on August 25th, will host another round of Makeup Tryouts on Sunday, October 20th from 2pm - 4pm.

\What locations does SELECT League offer?

SELECT League currently offers two locations!

SELECT Cobb will have practices held at McCleskey Middle School in Marietta, GA. 

SELECT Lakepoint will have practices held at Rally at Lakepoint Sports Complex in Emerson, GA. 

Both locations will have monthly, tournament-style playdates at Tsunami Cobb's home gym in Kennesaw, GA. 

What is the commitment for SELECT? 

SELECT League teams have 1 practice per week and an average of 1 playdate per month.

How long is the SELECT League season? 

SELECT League starts on November 27th and the End of Season playdate is on April 27th. 

Is SELECT League the right choice for my player? 

SELECT is geared toward players in 6th grade - 9th grade beginner-intermediate level players who may want to play club league in the future.

SELECT League is designed to fill the gap between recreational league and club volleyball. Players learn about different positions, roles on the court, rotations, and more in weekly newsletters. They learn to apply these skills and improve their fundamental volleyball movements in practice each week. 

What is the schedule for SELECT League? 

SELECT follows the Cobb County School District calendar for holidays and breaks. SELECT will not hold any practices on weeks that there are breaks or holidays on the CCSD calendar.  We will also not have any playdates on the weekends before breaks or holidays based on the CCSD calendar. 

How does SELECT's payment plan work? 

SELECT offers a monthly payment plan split evenly into four months. Initial deposits to commit to SELECT are $155 followed by auto-reoccuring payments of $130 from November - February.
