Second Chances

Have you ever wanted a redo, or a second chance on something you did?  I'm sure all of us have had that feeling when we did not quite prepare for the test, and would have loved a second chance.  Last weekend was a great lesson in not only taking advantage of your first chances, but also using those second chances when they are given to you.  We lost in a deciding game 13-15 to create a 3 way tie for first place.  Technically we should have been in second place, but we were fortunate to have an opportunity (second chance) to play for first.  For me the second chance was not really a second chance to win, but it was a second chance to show the type of team that we are.  We had a second chance to play with heart and effort, and I could not be happier that we took advantage of this.  If we focus on playing as a team and playing with effort all the time, we will not need this second chance next time.  Congrats to everyone on the tournament victory, but congrats even more to the way we played when given a second chance!
