Recruiting

One of Tsunami's mission is to help our players interested in playing at the collegiate level find a place to play.  We will have 3 advisors for our National teams 16 years and older.  Each player will communicate with their advisor, and along with the recruiting director, will help with the recruiting process.   

Dun Hahn: 17-Dun, 17-Katie, and 17-Kenny

Eric Hawes: 16-Eric and 16-Yvett

Jeff McClellan: 16-Jeff and 16-Brad

The first order of business is to get your name out to all of the coaches.  Recruiting websites (a few are listed at the bottom of the profile page) help but they really prefer personal contact from the players.  Below is a sample of a profile page you can use to send to your choice of colleges.  Please continue to make contact with the colleges you are interested in as coaches are swamped with emails and sometimes an email or so are overlooked.  Please be diligent with the process and don't be discouraged if you haven't been contacted back as there are times when coaches are not allowed to have contact with prospective athletes. The 3 advisors are here to help but it's up to the players to reach out to the colleges and establish a relationship with the coaches.  There is a school that would love to have you but it takes a lot of research and persistence to find the right fit. 

Once you have communicated with your advisors and contacted the colleges of your choice, please send your list of colleges to the recruiting director Dun Hahn (dun@tsunamivolleyball.com) so he may keep tabs as he communicates with coaches at various tournaments.
