Financial Information 2008-2009 Club Season
This season we will have three groups of competitive teams, Club teams, Power teams, and new for this season, we will have 4 "Tsunami North" teams. The Club teams will play in one qualifier and practice twice a week. The Power teams will play in 2 qualifiers and practice 3 times per week. North teams will play in one qualifier and practice three times a week. In some age groups the talent level may be that we will have two Power teams instead of one Club and one Power. That will be determined at the time the teams are selected and depend on the availability of gym space to provide the additional practice per week.
Tsunami Volleyball, Inc., is a not-for-profit 501(3)c corporation. We provide clear account statements to show you where your tuition is being applied. The base fees for this season are as follows:
Club Teams: $1,250
Power Teams: $1,500
North Teams: $1,100
The above costs do not include Tournament Fees. Tournament Fees include the cost of the team to enter the tournament as well as the travel cost for the coaches. The range in Tournament Fees will be contingent on the tournament schedule selected, the estimates are as follows:
Club Teams: $400-$600
Power Teams: $450-$800
North Teams: $300-$550
Players/Parents are financially responsible for hotel, transportation, and food costs associated with practices and tournaments.
Payment Schedule
For all age groups, a non-refundable deposit of $500 will be due on Commitment Night, Wednesday, November 12th, 2008. The deposit will go towards the overall fees for the season, which will be broken down as follows:
- Non-refundable Deposit: $500 due on Commitment Night, November 12th, 2008
- Payment 1: $500 due December 15th, 2008
- Payment 2: Balance of Base Fees due January 15th, 2009 (will vary by Black, Blue, White, and North teams)
- Payment 3: Tournament & Travel Fees for January-February due March 15th, 2009
- Payment 4: Tournament & Travel Fees for March-April due prior to Regional Tournament (exact date TBA)
For payments 3 and 4 you will receive account statements via email detailing the tournament and travel costs due. Statements are delivered electronically so please verify that your email address is correct and one that is checked often.
